I believe human over-population and industrialization may be the biggest problems with our natural environment. There are currently 8 billion people on earth driving too many cars and trucks; the natural environment would be better off if there were only 1 billion people and they rode bicycles. Finding moral ways of slashing the human population could eliminate industrial farming which would help the natural environment a whole lot. China saw human over-population as a major problem and they did something about it; China’s economy grew; and now the Chinese people are embracing 1 or 2 children per family. The rest of the countries should find moral ways to reduce their populations. The United States should also do more about large families because our national debt is unsustainable in large measure due to welfare and Medicaid. If people want to eat, they should get a job, yes, even if they don’t like the job such as field work. “…we gave you this rule: ‘If a man will not work, he shall not eat.'"

(2 Thessalonians 3.10). Industrialization has both devastated our natural environment and our socio-economic environment. We need to get to clean energy. Getting to clean energy is not that hard nor expensive—it’s the dirty industries that are holding us back. We also need to stop subsidizing industries which would also lower the US national debt. Also, the US government cannot afford to protect US multinational corporations operating in foreign countries (the new colonialism)—multinational corporations could hire their own security forces; better yet, these multinational corporations could sell their foreign assets to the local governments at a low price and let each country develop their own resources for their own citizens. This could mean less profit for US big businesses, but it would also help the US government get out of debt; and why should the US govt. go bankrupt? Capitalistic big business currently controls the US government; and rich investors generally want to be richer.
People expect there to be rich people and poor people and some people in between; but most people don’t like the present extreme

income inequality. The desire to be rich causes many people to eventually go to hell. “The love of money is the root of all evil.” (1 Tim. 6:8-10) “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” Matthew 6.24 “As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him ‘Good teacher,’ he asked, ’what must I do to inherit eternal life? … ’You know the commandments…’ ‘Teacher,’ he declared, ‘all these I have kept since I was a boy.’ Jesus looked at him and loved him. ‘One thing you lack,’ he said. ‘Go, sell everything you own and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.’ At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad because he had great wealth…Jesus said, 'How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God! … It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.’” Mark 10:17-25
